Fox Dreams of the New Year

Fox Dreams of the New Year is a one-shot adventure for Fox Magic, and uses the Story Point System (SPS). It takes place in the city of Sapporo, in the Hokkaido Province of Japan. The group are a troop of kitsune who have a den in the Sapporo Fushimi Inari Shrine, at the edge of the city. The foxes are celebrating the coming new year, when they fall into a slumber and find themselves in the past.

Fox Magic is a narrative game system which handles conflicts and challenges with a simple die roll, and has more emphasis on the storytelling and player interaction than on combat. The characters in this scenario are from the Shiyomi den, found within the shrine grounds. All characters are three-tailed kitsune and were first seen in the Kuromori Hill adventure, and it is presumed that the foxes got either the “good” or “best” ending for that adventure.
